Inspections & Permits
The Inspections & Permits department is responsible for plan reviews, code enforcement, building permits, Certificates of Occupancy and inspections for structural, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, natural gas and propane gas work.
From Plans to Final Inspection
The department helps guide projects through review, permitting, inspection and code compliance. Inspections are scheduled same day. Please call the morning of between 7-8am to speak with an inspector.
Plan Review
Review of construction documents and adopted building-code requirements.
Permits
Building, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, natural gas and propane gas permits.
Inspections
Field inspections of permitted work and routing of inspection requests.
Code Compliance
Property maintenance complaints, condemnation, abatement and floodplain questions.
