ENGINEERING & ZONING

The City of Homewood Department of Engineering and Zoning works strategically to achieve the highest and best use of all parcels within the City of Homewood. The department is responsible for engineering and zoning permit review, receives variance, rezoning, development plan, and resurvey applications, and administers the Board of Zoning Adjustment and the Planning Commission. Located on the 4th floor of city hall, this department is also responsible for ADA compliance, stormwater infrastructure, along with tree and fence permits.




PRE-APPLICATION MEETINGS


To give people who live or work in Homewood a chance to discuss projects or ask questions, the City offers Pre-Application Meetings. These meetings are held every Monday from 10:30am–12:00pm.
