  • What is absentee voting?

    Absentee voting is a way for a registered voter to cast their ballot without going to a polling place on Election Day, Tuesday, August 26. It's commonly used by:


    • People who will be out of town on Election Day
    • Students living away from home
    • Military members and their families
    • People with disabilities or health issues
    • Anyone who can’t vote in person for another valid reason (depending on state rules)
