Councilor Wolverton was born in Starkville, Mississippi and grew up in Washington state. He has lived in Homewood for over 12 years. He works as a pediatric physical therapist primarily working with children with developmental delays and disabilities. Outside of Council he enjoys supporting the Bell Center and Iron City Trykes/Birmingham Ambucs.
He was first elected to the Homewood City Council in 2016 and is serving his second term. He has enjoyed helping to improve Homewood’s pedestrian footprint and expanding the recreational opportunities and facilities for our community. He loves Homewood and enjoys staying active cycling and running on our city’s trails, participating in triathlons and working out at Nexus Fitness.
He and his wife, Trista, moved to Homewood from Seattle and have four children. You can almost always find him on the sideline coaching and/or cheering on his kids (and their peers) in a variety of sports and is heavily involved in Homewood Soccer Club and Boy Scout Troop 97.
