CITY COUNCIL
Council meetings are on the 2nd & 4th Monday of each month at city hall on the 2nd floor.
- A new form of government will take effect Nov. 3, 2025.
- The next Homewood municipal election is August 26, 2025 whereby voters will elect four councilors and a mayor.
The measure that was passed September 24, 2024 will change the number of councilors from eleven, to four, each designated to represent one of four wards. There will also be a mayor elected city-wide who would hold a dual role as council president. That will make it a five-person body to vote on matters of the city. READ MORE HERE
